FAQ CAMPING GELB (YELLOW)

Right next to the main entrance of the circuit, right behind the main stand, you will find GrandPrix.camp at Camping Gelb.

Camping GELB is open from Thursday to Monday during the Austrian Grand Prix.

The address of Camping GELB is Kattigarweg 2, 8724 Spielberg, Austria.

GrandPrix.camp is the organizer of Camping GELB. Camping GELB has been renting tents during the Austrian Grand Prix since 2016.

To avoid inconvenience, you are not allowed to bring your own generator, but this is not necessary because there is electricity.

Yes, there are power points in various places on the field. We recommend taking a 25 meter reel with you. There is a maximum of 1500 watts, so large household appliances cannot be connected.

Of course. It is allowed to light a gas BBQ.

Yes, sanitary facilities are available at Camping GELB. These can be used free of charge for camping GELB guests. Toilets are normal toilets and not dixies. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly, but also make sure that you leave the sanitary facilities tidy. During peak times the sanitary facilities can be busy, so try to use the sanitary facilities outside peak times to limit crowds.

You can arrange breakfast on site in the farmer’s yard. There is also a bar and a food truck there. The organization will come by in the morning and you can get coffee for a fee.

This is not possible near your tent, but it is within walking distance. Loading and unloading is possible at the reception.

No, you can only load and unload at the reception. After that, it is no longer allowed to drive your car onto the campsite. Roads around the circuit are mostly closed so it is not always possible to go out by car. There are always shuttle buses.

Pets are not allowed at Camping GELB.

After booking you will receive an email confirming the booking. We will then keep you informed of the latest news via our newsletters. You will receive important practical information 1 week before departure.

There is no minimum age at Camping GELB, but make sure you always carry a valid ID (driving license, ID card, passport) with you. Alcohol is not permitted for persons under 18 years of age. If people under the age of 18 are found to have consumed alcohol, further access to Camping GELB may be denied.

At Camping GELB there is an ATM on the farm’s property.

Upon arrival at Camping GELB you will receive a wristband at check-in. Keep this on at all times so that you can easily get on and off the site. Without a wristband you will not have access to Camping GELB. Security checks this.

First aid is available at Camping GELB. There is an emergency hospital on the circuit that camping guests can also use.

Any form of (noise) nuisance, especially between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., must be avoided. The use of radios etc. is permitted provided that it does not cause any nuisance to other guests. It is not permitted to bring large-scale and professional sound equipment to Camping GELB.

You can deposit household waste at the waste collection point. Residual waste must be placed in properly closed garbage bags. The camping pitch must be left clean upon departure. PLEASE NOTE: You will be charged a fee for leaving rubbish behind.

Huge sound systems with which you can provide the entire campsite with your favorite music are not permitted, this also applies to megaphones and subwoofers. If you have a small sound system with you and you are not a nuisance to your neighbors, that is no problem.

Check-in is possible daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. If you arrive later than 8 p.m., you can report this to the organization: +31 6 30053313

When you arrive at Camping GELB, follow the instructions of the traffic controllers. Make sure you have your arrival confirmation to hand. This ensures that we can check you in as quickly as possible. Does your group arrive in multiple parts? Make sure that every car has a copy of arrival confirmation with it.

On Sunday you can check out immediately after the race, at the same place where you checked in. Please note that the site may only be left after approval by the local police. This will be the case around 8 p.m. If you have booked until Monday, you must check out by 10:00 am.

CAMPSITE RULES

Everyone who places a booking respects the regulations and will confirm to the stated herein without reservation.

Any violation of the following guidelines may lead to further refusal of the offender’s access to the camping.

Placing tents, folding trailers, caravans, motorhomes, cars, etc. and leaving goods behind is entirely at your own risk.

To ensure that everyone can count on a pleasant, safe and responsible stay, we make the following agreements with our guests:

  • Drugs, weapons, knives, drones, laser pointers, fireworks, gas and oil lamps, large gas bottles, candles and torches are all not allowed
  • Visitors dressed in club clothing and/or clothing belonging to (a) certain group(s) may be refused. Of course, the clothing of a Formula 1 team is no problem at all
  • The distribution of folders, flyers and/or trading in goods is prohibited, unless written permission has been granted by Grandprix.com.
  • Pets are not allowed
  • In the event of an early departure, no refund will be made
  • Alcohol will not be distributed to persons under the age of 18 (either directly or through redistribution). Persons who apparently want to enter the camping under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs can be refused. The person who is demonstrably under the influence cannot claim compensation for admission tickets, travel costs and/or all other costs incurred
  • All daily social norms and values ​​apply at the camping. Threatening and using violence, making discriminatory comments in word and/or gesture, sexual intimidation, urinating in public and throwing beer are not tolerated. Upon detection, further access to the camping will be denied and the person may be handed over to the police. Any damage will also be recovered from the person causing the damage
  • If our house rules are not observed, (further) access to the camping will be irrevocably denied and the visitor will be given a local ban. Visitors and persons who have been denied access to the camping on the basis of the law and the house rules – for whatever reason – cannot claim any reimbursement of entrance tickets and/or travel costs.
